Nanaoh Magazine in English! / 英語版「七緒」

Surprisingly, Nanaoh, one of the major kimono magazines, was published in English by Kodansha International.  To improve the quality of this blog, as well as to be able to become better at talking about kimono in English, I bought it. 

なんとあの「七緒」の英語版が発売されているのを発見。ブログの質向上と、英語できものの話がもっと上手にできるように、さっそく購入。

Obi is translated as "sash", not belt!  Gotta study more! 
帯はbeltじゃなくてsashと訳すのが一般的らしい。もっと勉強せねば！
