N-ko san, one of my kimono friends, couteously volonteered to show Kawagoe city around for us. She is familiar with the place, as she lives close by.
きもの友達の一人、Ｎ子さんが感謝なことに川越を案内して下さることに。お近くにお住まいなので、よくご存じなのである。
Firstly we visited Chuuin garden. Very nice with seasonal flowers on a sunny, a bit too windy, beautiful day.
まずは中院へ。少し風が強いがきれいに晴れた日に、菖蒲の花が映える日本庭園だ。

After coming back, husband and myself joined Kasoyo-san's dinner with Nishimura-san from Nishimura Hakata Orimono. Enjoyed Korean restaurant, which is impossible if I was not wearing cottton kimono like today! They gave me a bouquet of flowers, which was also very pretty.
帰った後は花想容さんのディナーで、博多織織元の西村さんもご一緒に。木綿のきものでなければ行けない韓国料理を堪能。母の日に余ったカーネーションももらった。きれい！
